About Quilting Traditions

We have been making and enjoying quilts for over 20 years.  First with hand quilting, and now with freehand and computerized Longarm machine quilting!

Our computerized Longarm quilting machines, enable us to beautifully finish quilts many times faster than ever possible with hand quilting. We offer both computerized designs that consistently achieve precisely stitched designs, and freehand quilting that offers natural free-flowing design capabilities. Now every quilt can have beautiful feather-work in either style!

We now have two Longarm quilting machines, and have remodeled and expanded the quilting studios to better serve our customers.

Several of our customers have won multiple ribbons in local quilting shows in both Ravena and Schenectady NY. Who knows, maybe yours will be the next award winning quilt!

We are located in the Capital District of New York State. Via the internet, we now offer our services throughout the US using UPS and other shipping services as necessary for the physical movement of the quilts. Between the phone and email, you're completed quilt is only a call or click away.

The pictures above are of two of our quilts which won a total of six awards. The purple, blue, and teal quilt won: Best of Show, Best Machine Quilting, and Exceptional Merit in the QUILT Inc Delmar guild quilt show in Ravena NY in April 2011.

The purple quilt “Breaking Free” won Third Place at Machine Quilters Expo in Rhode Island in April 2010. It was also included in an article in the September 2010 issue of “The Quilter” magazine. It won First Place with Exceptional Merit for Overall Score at our local QUILTS Autumn Inspirations Quilt Show in October 2010. It just won First Place, and Judge’s Choice in the QUILT Inc Delmar guild quilt show in Ravena NY in April 2011.
